Starbucks should have an employee that’s a Marketing Tester, someone that goes

to different companies that sale the same products that Starbucks sale and test out the

products to see what’s so much different and better than Starbucks that makes customers

go to that other company and try out their products besides the price. Starbucks have to

compete with other companies like Burger King that also sales hot coffee, ice

coffee(blended & non blended), Mac Donald’s that also sale hot coffee, ice

coffee(blended & non blended), fruit smoothies, parfaits, etc. Then there are other places

like Crispy Crèmes, Dunkin Donuts and even small regular donut shops.

The qualifications for this position, consist of a high school diploma, a

College degree in Sales or Marketing. You will also need at least 1 year experience in

Sales or Customer Service, a confident and positive attitude and have experience in

public speaking. You will also need to be a self-starting and independent person that is

able to get the job complete without needing assistance. In order to qualify for the

position you must have a clean criminal background, drug test and employee assessment

test to see where the employee stands as far as selling and marketing products. The

position is a part of the Marketing Department, because the employee is out in the field

trying to market products for Starbucks, by seeing what different and what’s the

difference in the products that the competitors are offering and selling. The one thing that

I have not seen in a Starbuck store that kind of goes very well with coffee or hot

chocolate and sometimes even tea is donuts. Although the menu options that Starbucks

have for breakfast and lunch as they’re food products go well for the company and should

not change, they’re food options are more on the healthy side. They have items like;
