ABSTRACT

The main target of this project is to investigate the solar parameters

such as Voltage, Current and Power of flat solar PV. To accomplish

this objective, we chose the instruments which helped us to do our

measurements like Data acquisition and the Pyranometer. After

finding out the measurements that suppliedby the instruments we plot

2 curves to see the performance of the PV cell, the first one is

represent the Power variation with the time, the second one is

represent the voltage variation with the time.

The secondary target of the project is to design a solar PV system by

selecting the site location and the major components. Also we looked

for the Environmental Impacts of Solar Power and how we can

improve the performance of the PV.

1. Introduction:

Solar energy—power from the sun—is a vast and inexhaustible resource. Once a system is

in place to convert it into useful energy, the fuel is free and will never be subject to the ups

and downs of energy markets. Furthermore, it represents a clean alternative to the fossil

fuels that...
