We introduced ourselves and each team member distributed each member’s role and responsibility in this role play. And then we search the internet for the background information and related materials about this topic. We tried to find the issues regarding to this ad. The text and images are matching. We used electronic translator to translate audio tapes. When we listen to the recording we take notes and mark on the difficult and confusing sentences.

At the beginning, I discussed the expectations and goals with the client. I explained my research methodologies and sources of reference material to the client. Also, I explained the revoicing techniques and some limitations on providing script for this assignment. I was doing some research on cultural specific areas and using the techniques that adapt to cultural content.

Before doing the translation, I discuss the expectations of outcome with client. I explained my responsibilities and translation methodologies to client, and ask for her suggestions. We analyzed different translating strategies and identify their own limitations. And then, I chose the most appropriate one. I did some online research and found the cross cultural issues related to this assignment. After providing first draft of the assignment, the client checked on the grammar and word spelling, and then gave me some feedback about sentences which can be improved or adjusted. I made the required adjustment of the assignment and made an agreement with client that the assignment is at an acceptable level of quality.
