DETAILS OF COURSEWORK ASSESSMENT & ASSIGNMENTS

Students will be assessed based on their performance on final exam (50%) and coursework (50%). The 50% coursework will be evaluated throughout the semester in the forms of:

• Assignment 1 (20%)

• Assignment 2 (20%)

• quizzes (2 quiz x 10% = 20%)

The assignments for students of this group will be on teamwork basis. Students are required to complete two written assignments.

Assignment 1 (20%)

This assignment requires students (in group of 4) to produce written reports on the topic assigned. Basically, this assignment aims to enhance students’ understandings on the importance of HRM.

The report should be written using the following format:

1. Cover Page: Course name and code, class’ group, assignment’s title, group members’ name, submission date.

2. Content: Introduction of the relevant concepts, discussion of the topic assigned, conclusion.

3. References – should have at least two articles (Using APA system).

4. Technical writing format – Times New Roman, spacing 1½, font 12 and the length of the essay is between 5-7 pages.

The following are the topics of the assignment:

1. How can HRM help organization to build competitive advantage?

2. How can HRM build teamwork based culture in organization?

3. How can HRM help enhancing organizational innovation?

4. How can HRM develop a successful diverse workforce?

5. How can HRM create an ethical workpkace?

*Each topic can be shared by two groups only.
