What effect would this have on his leadership role with his officers?

I think that this would have a major effect on his leadership role with his officers. First thing, it’s going to make the whole department look like fools for allowing the Sheriff to project his views and use them for influence. He in fact should not be Sheriff if he has these views towards minorities due to the fact that he has to communicate and work with all types of different people in the community. With that kind of personality and beliefs, there is no way to guarantee that he can treat them fairly. (Michael R. Stevenson, 2007)

What effect would this have on his interaction with another agency? Explain.

This will really go over good with the boys and gals from the FBI. He will get no respect from these guys. It would be a really tough situation to be in. But, this in fact could be a great opportunity for Sheriff Johnson to get to work with these different individuals and see that there is no reason to be so racist. (Commonweath of Kentucky, 2015)

Would this have an effect on community relations and cooperation with the community with the FBI?

This would definitely have an effect on community relations and with the FBI. It would cause lots of tension between the two police forces if the Sheriff doesn’t take this opportunity and try and see things differently.

I would say that the community would probably lose trust in the police force with him in charge. They could feel as if he isn’t doing his job correctly and is profiling his targets.
