he common element presented by James Kouzes and confirmed by Peter Ferdinand Drucker showed the concept of Leadership.   These common elements I can illustrate as such:

    1. Model the way

    2. Inspire a Share Vision

    3. Challenge the Process

    4. Enable others to Act

    5. Encourage the Heart

I'll discuss each common element from point of view of Kouzes and Drucker, but before the discussion of common elements is important to clarify, what is the meaning of Leadership?   Based on Kouzes Leadership is defined at the outset as "the art of mobilizing others to want to struggle for shared aspirations". Drucker identified a Leadership as "leadership is lifting a person's vision to higher sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations."   Both considered that the five common elements are driven by behavior of the leader.

  1. Challenge the Process

  Kouzes identify challenge the process as "So leaders must challenge the process precisely because any system will unconsciously conspire to maintain the status quo and prevent change."   The leader always should think and search to improve the process because if evaluate the process will have opportunity to innovate.   All process in the status quo have had destine the unsuccessful.   The status quo never should be present and the leader prevents that situation when make change.

  2. Inspire a Shared Vision

  Vision is defined as "an ideal and unique image of the future."   The leader with a share vision helps maintain the team's motivation.

Rarely can entrepreneurs make a company succeed by themselves. This is much like the fact that greatest athlete doesn't ensure that their team will win if the other players cannot perform. As such, entrepreneurs need to be able to identify staffing needs, expertly fill them, and lead the team to success.
