ROAD

Road safety is a simple term at the first glance on it but at the same time it requires one to think critically so as to come up with a comprehensive and exhaustive definition. Once it is mentioned in most cases three parties concurrently come in mind. These parties are believed to be the key players on road use and they are:

* Motorists

* Pedestrian

* Government

This term is defined as the cautious measures that the road users and the arm in charge of roads are required to employ in order to curb accidents and other bad uses on the road. This is necessary so as to ensure there is safety on our roads all over the world.

HOW GOVERNMENT ENSURES ROAD SAFETY ON ROADS IN THE WORLD.

At this point, we will pay key attention on how the government ensures safety on roads. In addition to that, we will focus on the issues which they have neglected that should be put into consideration and implemented as soon as possible to emphasize road safety.

One of the key study is the government of Sweden which is known to host meetings on road safety action since 2011 up to date. This year, the Sweden government hosted the annual meeting on 8th June which is said to consist of all the friends of the Decades of Action. The group that deal with road safety is made up of governments’ informal group and agencies that are well known internationally. The two parties that are involved in the meeting held in Sweden are entrusted with the task of ensuring that the Decade of Action is successful every time it is held.

The second global high level conference on road safety which was scheduled for 18th and 19 November in Brasilia, Brazil ensured that twelve member states and seven agencies met prior.
