ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Researcher is heartily thankful first of all to the almighty God for giving the researcher the wisdom guidance, strength and courage during the formation of the study for the last moment.

To researcher’s family for the inspiration and undying support and love. To her classmates and friends for the help.

I. COMPANY BACKGROUND

In September of 1997, an ordinary car salesman was one of those affected by the Asian Financial crisis that started in Thailand. Of course the merchandise he was selling was not a priority at that time when the region's economy was in bad shape. Thus he was forced to leave the job to look for greener pastures, as the saying goes.

An ad from a leading newspaper read: "WANTED RESOURCE SPEAKER" Apply at No. 20 Lantana St. Cubao, Quezon City. The poor car salesman, who happens to be a product of a university that produces the best teachers in the Philippines, confidently applied for the position and was hired. Unknowingly, the job was Tour Guiding whom the salesman fell in love with.

Focused and dedicated to the new found job, the salesman excelled and was promoted in just two months. As a regular Tour Guide of the company, the car salesman started handling multiple day tours that brought him to different places which eventually broadened his knowledge to a variety of subjects.
