Genesis to Revelations

When cell phones were first introduced to the public it was a great invention. The problem I thought was the phones were big and awkward. But as always with great inventions there would be a change to improved how the phone looked and performed.
The first phone to be invented was in April 3,1973 when Martin Cooper senior engineer at Motorola, called a rival telecommunications company and informed them he was speaking via a mobile phone It weighs 2.4lbs and measured 9x5x1.74in. With this prototype device, you got 30 minutes of talk-time and it took around 10 hours to charge (Goodwin, 2015).

So then came the next generation of phones. They would weigh less and would be smaller with newer technology added. For example, in 1997 the Nokia 6110 had new features.

So with the coming of the new phones came more portability and starting to appear in the hands of the average consumer for the first time (Goodwin, 2015).
