Sysco Company and its subsidiaries, is an American Business specialized in distributing. The company is highly recognized because of its services in the distribution sector. The company is tanked number seven in the fortune 500 companies in Texas state and number 55 in the larger US company in fortune 1000. This paper will examine the Sysco business model and the strategic plan. The paper will use SWOTT analysis to examine the business environment of the company.

Discussion

The company has specialized in the distribution of foodstuffs and other related products. The product line of the business involves a broad range of frozen, dry, canned, and fresh food items like meat, and seafood. The company has more than 400,000 customers that belong to different business environments such as hospitals, schools, collage cafeterias, and restaurants (Sysco, 2015, p. 17). The company also engages in a non-food distribution. In this sector, the company distributes items such as cooking utensils, kitchen equipments, cutleries, and other disposable items used for sanitary purposes.
