Modell Charter School Feasibility Study

In the Past ten years, students and staff have come and gone, but some staff and students are still in the school’s system as employed and still enrolled. The need for and improved system that will address these issues should be put into action. The way the world moves today is to update systems to a faster program that will keep up with changes to the school’s staff and student enrollment and employment. Now, it is evident that this need for a more specialized system is needed, one that will not only address these issues, but will as well as replace the computer systems with new faster, up to date processors and data storage. As a school with a 100-year-old background in education, Modell Charter School is in need of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software upgrade. Schools in the surrounding area are state funded and have the equipment that is needed to teach students, let staff members know when a student is absent or if a student has been transferred out of the system to a new school. Staff members will also be able to adjust payroll, hire and release staff members, teachers and students with a touch of a button. This system will also aide in deductions, retirement and onboarding.

This system will also help with the restructure of the organization bringing it to a client- and service-oriented tactic that will improve accountability and reassure employees of the modernize effects of their day-to-day procedures.

Executive Summary

This feasibility study aims to provide board members with a vibrant understanding of the deviations that have been happening and anticipated request for additional changes in the system that will help bring the school to modernization.
