1) Is the title specific enough to differentiate it from other related topics?

The topic is specific enough to differentiate from other related topics. There are many different structural characteristics that can explain the interpersonal networks with women and men but this article actual discusses the structural characteristics and support benefits in a management environment and different organizations.

2) Do subtitles, if present, provide important information regarding the research?

There were no subtitles for this article.

3) Are the main variables expressed in the title?

Yes, the main variables are expressed in the title. The variables are the interpersonal networks of women and men in management. Women and men tended to belong to different networks in their organizations. Several of the variables that define the structural characteristics of networks are derived from the primary measures described above. The percentage of same-sex network members was determined from the lists of network members provided by each participant. (Rothstein, Mitchell, Burke, Bristor, 2001, pg. 4-25)

4) Are the terms in the title easily understood by most people?

The terms are easily understood by more people. People understand being in a management type of environment. Being in any environment that includes an interpersonal network there are structural characteristic and support benefits. Women and men tended to belong to different networks in their organizations. Although both groups obtained similar amounts of support from their networks, women managers received their support from substantially different networks, characterized by lower levels of status and power in their organizations. No, I don’t feel the title avoids or limits any study results....
