To devise strategic plan that will enable the company to reach its commitment upon implementation of Domestic Content Bill in the next (5) five years.

V. AREAS OF CONSIDERATION

1. INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT

A. HUMAN RESOURCE

Applicants are expected to complete a pre-employment training program under Tennessee’s Department of Employment; they are well screened before they are employed to Nissan USA. Top management are equipped and well experienced in their respective areas. Several employees will receive a specialized training program in Nissan Japan that will vary for2-4 months. They will make use of the continued training programs within the company that promote job enlargement and job enrichment programs that will be used to help workers develop their skills. Management will use an interdisciplinary approach and will also encourage workers to go beyond the boundaries of their particular job. Nissan promotes a harmonious relationship between management and labor.

B. FINANCE

Nissan Motor Corporation – USA is an organization with a capitalization of $6Million that can support its start-up operation in Smyrna Tennessee.

C. PRODUCTION

Smyrna Tennessee will be using the latest Japanese management technique and technology for producing vehicles with a team of maintenance engineers and operators that will also be responsible in producing high quality products. Suppliers will have to adapt the Japanese ways on keeping stocks as low as possible. The production process of each supplier will be certified in details by Nissan’s quality control department....
