a. Discuss first reason mentioned in beginning paragraph begin with a grabber

i. Use transitions and phrases within paragraph such as:

1. Thus, Also, Additionally, In addition, Therefore, As a result, As well as

ii. Be sure to tie the paragraph to the thesis at the end of the paragraph

2. For example, “Clearly, the Phillies many injuries suffered by the pitchers and relievers played a role in the disappointing 2013 season.”

3. Helpful words for this sentence:
