The data collection might involve the proposed areas for changes, the departments and number of employees that are involved, where the resistance to change can more likely appear etc. 8

 Diagnosing – Diagnosing is the stage where by evaluating the current position a future target is set. Diagnosis involves analysis of the current standing of the departments and employees, what the processes need what level of change and what can be done to minimize the involved risk. 8
