A message to the technical support about an employee's computer that has been infected by a virus.

For this situation I would use Schedule meetings, Email, Landline, or Cell phone. I would be most inclined to use email or schedule meeting for documentation purposes of the incident in case it has a ripple effect that may spill over in to other areas of the company. An employee’s computer may have vital information as well as it could directly or indirectly have repercussions on other ability to complete task.

The convenience of the landline or cell phone call would be to increase the sense of urgency. To get the problem addressed a phone call would be my way of following up with this situation to ensure that it is handled in a timely manner. Having an employee working on an infected computer would not be setting them up for success and this would need immediate attention.

A message from HR to all employees, explaining the changes to the company health plan in the coming year.

This would depend of the size of the company. Both in a large and small company I would use email and would consider group message on social media platform if it was a closed group to let them know to speak to the HR department with any questions. I believe many informal conversations would occur just from the shift and changes that would affect the employees. In a large and small company I think the most effective way to address changes to policy is in scheduled meetings. If the company is too large for one meeting then hold multiple meeting over the course of a few weeks that people can sign up to come to find out more information and how they will directly be affected by the changes. Options a company have can be based on their resources if the company has a private network it might be able to send a direct video link during work hours so people could view...
