To Drill or Not To Drill? That Is The Question.

From my point of view I agree with President Obama’s plan to go green, I also feel that the situation should be look at from both sides. I think this way because it is a hard choice to make, at the same time while we are drilling we are getting oil that is needed for other purposes, however I do agree that we need to go green no matter what. I believe we need to look at both sides of the situation and find a solution that will help both parties out. I do agree that drilling oil is the way to go, though we need to find alternative ways on drilling without harming the ozone layer and earth. By thinking of the fall backs of going green in drilling oil, we might lose the number of employments there currently are, domestic production and ever-increasing imports. By continuing to drill we are even saving money from importing oil from other countries. We need to start thinking about the future and how it would affect us if we don’t go green. I do believe in solar power because that would promise a better recovery for America and also grant us more jobs.

I have found that when you spring new things on people they tend to be more hesitant towards new things. So when you are comfortable with older things you tend to defend that way, seeing how that is the only way you have ever known to do something. So therefore that would be one positive of continuing to drill for oil. I also would have to point out that I feel very strongly toward oil drillers expanding their oil drilling to other parts of America that have been untouched, Keeping it away from civilization of all kinds. Overall once everything is said and done and looked from both perspectives equally I still agree with Obama’s plan, it sounds like it’s a pretty good idea to go green and in the long run it will be well worth it.
