Introduction

The objective of this report is to identify different types of project that being constructed in TelukIntan, Perak and SabakBernam Selangor. There are many construction projects are being constructed to expand these land such as residential, industrial, commercial construction and etc. First of all, to build a building within a time limitation, there are few roles for the Construction Manager to fulfil. One of the roles is plan well for the full construction process. Besides that, organise the workers to their specific job allocation, control the workers, machinery and also the material usage are important too. Co-ordinate well the machinery and equipment, communicate well to the workers, forecasting the issue that might happen during the construction, directing the correct way to achieve success of constructing the building are the responsibilities of the Construction Manager too. The authority to visit the site is given by the Project Manager to our group members to enter the site and have a chance to explore and understand more about the process of constructing a building from the flat ground to the expected outcomes. There are three types of construction projects that our group members have visited which are Residential, Commercial and Industrial Construction. We do appreciate to the property developer and construction companies, which are Chong Sang Onn Sdn.Bhd, CSO Construction Sdn.Bhd, CSO Properties Sdn.Bhd, A Plus Builder and Cheong and Cheong Construction for giving us the opportunity to the construction site and accomplish our group assignment.
