Introduction

Smartphone has been used in our life over last 10 years, and there are many ways to be utilized by smartphone. Such as phone calling, recording notes, watching move, managing schedule, and chatting online. In order to know the smart phone usage in student’s field, I make a survey that focuses on Douglas College student. This investigating choice 10 students and through the email.

Actual Report

In this survey, I use the Outlook OneDrive to create and distribute a form and then collect its result. The survey is through many step, and the procedure of doing the survey is illustrated below.

Step 1

Opening the Outlook and choosing Excel Survey.

Step 2

Filling up the Document Name and Description of Survey.

Step 3

Entering the 15 following questions. Using different response types to set these 15 questions, there are questions of Text, Choice, and Yes/NO respectively. In addition, the required questions by selecting “required” except the first one and second one. Every single question must click “Done” to make sure that the question is set.

Step 4

Clicking the button of “Save and View” when the questions have done. And the survey appears in the screen.

Step 5

I check every single question and the response. Furthermore, clicking the Share Survey button and then click the Create Link button.

Step 6

The survey link is coped and made short through https://bitly.com/. And I email the short link to all of survey participants.

Step 7

Getting the result form all of participants, the results be added as a new row to the spreadsheet, and downloading the Excel file form OneDrive on the desktop.
