An organization that uses the organizational behavior terminology and concepts can promote change and will create a productive work environment for its employees. This can lead to positive changes in the workplace. In this paper, I will explain the key concepts in organizational culture, organization behavior, diversity, and communication within the workplace.

Organizations are working hard to keep businesses thriving because of the economy. Businesses are changing the way companies have operated in the past to become successful.

Understanding organizational behavior is important. An organization most important asset is to understand how humans behave within organizations will improve productivity. Collectively each concept plays an important factor within the organization. Knowing the key concepts will allow an organization to prosper. Organizational culture within an organization operates with a clear vision of the future is supported by a well-developed and well-communicated beliefs and value (Robbins & Judge, 2009). An aspect of organizational culture is employers and employees working together to accomplish the goals of the organization. Organizational culture and organizational behavior help build the foundation for any organization. The constructive culture chart explains in any organizations team member prefer to work together oppose to defensive culture members who act in his or her won self interest. Management in the past has hired individuals like themselves thinking whipping employees in shape would help the organizations. Mistreating employees those days are long gone.

In today organizations management should motivate employees to do a good job. Good managers reinforce and support an existing strong culture; good managers are also able to help build resilient cultures in situations where they are absent (Robbins & Judge, 2009).
