Learn from your Mistakes
Everyone makes mistakes, but if you can learn from your mistake, you will success.
This story happened at a weekend. During a tennis tournament. That was the one of the biggest, and the most important tournament I played. I got through my first match in main draw on Friday. But I lost my second round tough on Saturday. And I had to play back-draw matches. I tried so hard and won the back-draw match at Saturday night. So I will have another match on Sunday as usual. I was really excited, because that was the first time I got into this far in a tournament. Especially that was biggest U18 tournament I played in my career. I had been working extremely hard to get to this position. Everyone was proud of me for having a big improvement.
I woke up early on Sunday. I prepared my tennis bag nicely, and got ready for the match. When I saw my opponent’s name, I was so glad. Because I beat her a month ago in tough three sets. I had my breakfast. After that I went to warm up with my coach like every other tournament. My coach talked about match tactics with me after warm up.
At 11 o’clock, the match started on time. I lost my first service game fast, but I was pretty calm. Because I’m the one who has a slow start all the time. Then game continued, I lost another two games in a row. I got a little rush. The match was going undesirable. I tried to think and make adjustments to turn the match around. I had some water, tried to calm myself down during a changeover. Went back on the court started again. The score changed spanking. 0-3, 0-4, 0-5, 0-6, set. I got a little frustrated. I couldn’t believe that that girl gave me a bagel.
I reset myself ready for the second set. I knew the match is not over yet. I used the bathroom, took my time, back to the court with 100%. Unexpectedly, I kept missing balls and made a bunch of errors. I got disappoint. I felt I lost my feelings. I thought about...
