Toyota recalls half million US cars over faulty airbags

Japanese carmaker Toyota says it will recall 482.000 vehicles in the
US over faulty airbags.
The cars affected are Prius models from 2010 to 2012 and Lexus CT
models from 2011 and 2012.
Toyota and other carmakers have over the past years been rocked by
millions of recalls over problems with airbags supplied by supplier
company Takata.
In the current recall, Toyota does specify the manufacturer of the affected
parts.
In a statement, the carmaker said the vehicles had an air bag inflator that
could have a small crack in a weld which could widen over time.
The air bag could partially inflate and parts of the inflator could enter the
vehicle interior, leading to "an increased risk of injury."
The company said it was not aware of any injuries or deaths related to the
recall.
Analysis
In my opinion I analyze that this situation of Toyota,It's a one
problem of Toyota because this is an error that relate with a safety of
customer. It's made reduce a confidence in a some part of customer.
Some of the consumer realize to them safety from this case may made a
customer think that production may not have a standard. It's may reduce
amount of customer and then will reduce a profit too because them have to
recall 482.000 vehicles but It's not big problem of Toyota because them said
that them will recall a cars that over faulty airbags. It's show to responsibility of
Toyota and this made a some customer still remain and still trust Toyota. Them
should change a supplier of safety airbags (Takata).It's may get a trust of
customer back and may get a standard of airbags more.
