Reflective thinking Essay #3

There is one thing that did make interact differently in the classroom, and that’s was the peer assessment. The peer assessment told me that my classmates think pretty highly of myself and I do appreciate that at all. It has made Airman Leadership School easier because everyone wants to pass and work together as a team. So I feel like I have to make sure I keep them motivated and looking at the end of the tunnel which is graduation. Making sure that I stay on top of my tasks as well as theirs. There are a few things that can be very frustrating in Airman Leadership School which is all the tedious tasks that we have to get done. What was pretty evident is that it really makes you think about your time management and making sure that you stay on top of your priorities. Another frustrating aspect of the course is thinking about the summative exam and basically testing week that we are going to have. I contributed to the learning process by being vocal. Not being the person that always stays quite in the classroom. I also contributed by participating in class room discussions and group discussions as well. Bringing my own personal and work related experience was also a contributing factor to the learning process. I know taking this course that the way I view things and how others view things puts a lot into perspective. I will have a better understanding about an individual’s wants and needs and better understanding in how to take care of my people. Learning these course helped me in how to solve problems by different approaches to certain situations. For instance how to solve problems if you have troop that has family problems or in other cases if your troop has some sort of substance abuse. Sending them to the right people is part of your responsibility as a supervisor. I was a little skeptical about this course but I still came with an open mind. I am definitely glad that I was able to take the course and ive learned a lot. I hope...
