Following Orders

In the military , there is a chain of command. The chain of command is composed of all ranks, from lowest having no power and the highest, being in charge of all troops. I am in no financial position to be paying a fine for something as simple as obeying someones command. It does not matter if you do not like the order, just bit your tongue and do it. If you can just get er done and not complain day after day, you will be rewarded at some point in time or you will be earning respect from everyone. Or not but you still have to comply.

The first lesson of leadership is learning how to follow orders. That is also providing that the leader you are following knows what they are doing, and in the military, that can be a tricky question. If you do not learn how to follow orders, you will never be trusted to give them. It is something called character-based leadership.

Following orders also instill discipline within the ranks. Orders come from the top ranks down to the lower ranks. Following those orders ensures everyone is on the same page to get the task done in the most efficient manner possible. If someone does not follow the orders given for a task and decides to do the task in their own way, the risk of failure is increased and more likely to occur. It can have a very costly outcome.

There are many reasons why a soldier should follow all of the orders they are given because every one of them is important in any circumstance. An order is a task given to a soldier that has to be done in a certain period of time in an efficient manner.
