intro!!!!!

There are an innumerable amount of social issues wrapped around being a Criminal Justice Practitioner. The three topics that stand out to me most are; Ethics in Criminal Justice, Gun Control, and Eliminating Racial Profiling. Ethics in Criminal Justice is the first key issue I would like to address, in the justice system practitioners do not use discretion until face with major choses. Instead of taking a stand to what is right, some times you will see a practitioner follow suit and just along with the plan whether he/she feels it is just or unjust. In many cases it is the fear of what will happen if they take their own discretion and stand beside the offender.
