Decision in Paradise I: strategic plan for Kava Island

Kraft Foods is committed to building a heritage and acquiring an impact in the South Pacific Kava Island by corresponding the missions and values of the company to the traditions of the Kava people and the island.

Kraft Foods founder Chris Morales, is considering expanding the operations, by building, and solidifying global economies in the South Pacific that immediately affect the businesses and lives around the globe. Kava Island has many problems to overcome; the first is the disasters and turmoil in existences. The majority of the residents are indigenous people, whose cultural customs are indigenous religion and health care. To gain a presence in Kava, Kraft must have an ensure effect that can convert the life of the culture or not have effect.

Kraft foods are the second largest food company in the world for snacks, confectionery, and quick meals. Many the obligations of Chris Morales are mirrored in Kraft Foods mission and vision statements, organizational processes, and ethical standards. According to Kraft mission is “a vision captures the essence of who we are. Everything we do flows from our vision. We just don't happen to be a business that sells food – it's what we're all about. Our vision is about meeting consumers' needs and making food an easier, healthier, more enjoyable part of life” (Kraft Foods, 2011 pp.1). Kraft has six values that we stand for, “Innovation – Satisfying real-life needs with unique ideas. Quality – Fulfilling a promise to deliver the best Safety – Ensuring high standards in everything we make Respect – Caring for people, communities and the environment Integrity – Doing the right thing Openness – Listening to the ideas of others and encouraging an open dialogue” (Kraft Foods, 2011 pp. 2).
