In this paper I will analyze my personal leadership style, utilizing the 7 Habits profile as well as other sources. I will then identify strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations of my leadership style. Finally, I will develop SMART goals to achieve goals based on this evaluation.
A1. Leadership Evaluation
I have completed the “Seven Habits Profile” resulting in all above average and outstanding in the category areas. The profile is attached separately and I will analyze further to understand my leadership style.
A1.a Reflection of Profile and indications of my leadership style
I scored 15 or higher in areas 3, 6, 7, and 8 and 12—14 in areas 1,2,4,5, and 9. Overall, the profile shows that I am skilled in a number of areas and not seriously deficient in any category. I still have room to improve in the categories that I scored Very Good versus Outstanding and will work to sharpen those skills while trying to maintain the proficiency of the other skills already developed.
I will start with areas for improvement. The first area I will discuss is Begin with the End in Mind. While I definitely know what I want my life accomplishments to be I need to focus more on how I get there. Proper organization and a clear outline of how I am going to accomplish this is not crafted as well as it should be.
