Introduction

The field of development of psychology can be defined as the systematic study of human development in which various psychological changes occur at different stages over the grade of life span in a human being. There are mainly seven stages of the psychological development Infancy (birth to 1 year), Early childhood (1-6 years), Middle childhood (6-12 years) Adolescence (12-18 years), Early adulthood (18-40 years), Middle adulthood (40-60 years) Late adulthood (60+ years). Development of a human is different according to the different stages. The field of human development observes changes by addressing the various aspect of human development such as physical development, cognitive development, social and moral understanding and personality development.

In this section we will explore what factors affect physical development in the early years of our lifespan developmental milestones in which by a certain age the child should have accomplished. The first factor which affects development is the environment where your child is plays a major part in shaping the architect of your brain. It’s with the family where the child spends most of their time with the bonding and the learning experiences thru those early years of interactions will stay with the child for there lifetime. Another factor is where the child grows up in the safety and the friendliness of the neighborhood. How you are raised and taught by your family. If your father spends time with you proving the bonding and interaction that is needed or if he is a alcoholic affects the way the child will develop in the early years of the developmental milestones.
