1.0 Introduction

1.1 Background

Singapore known as a busy developing country yet also known as a country with a high longevity elderly population which has been on one of the national issue since 1980s , particularly Singapore's population growth for youth would be slower compares to the number of senior citizen aged 65 years and above would increase quickly (Channelnewsasia 2015). According to one of website posted that elderly population will grow up extremely and its proven by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong stated that in the 2050, the Singapore's pyramid population will go upward with the number of elderly increase faster than any society in the world. Number of the senior citizen group doubled from 220,000 in 2000 and 440,000 until today and it is assumed will increase to 900,000 in 2030 (Ng 2015). To face for the future condition where almost 20% of Singapore population will be above 65 years old, Singapore's Government has acted toward this case by providing some services for senior citizen such as healthcare, elder-friendly housing, transport, education...
