Essentials of Management

1. I consider McDonalds a great organization. It has a successful business model that was built to compete in the domestic and international marketplaces. The idea of a fast hamburger meal for the working class has kept pace over the decades. The management of McDonalds over the years has introduced new products, sizes, and local or regional products to meet the needs of the customers. They have been effective at achieving their goals as well as efficient in their functions. They know how to make quick decisions that are in line with the company’s concepts and resolve problems for the benefit of the organization. They know how to mobilize the people they manage to stimulate high performance to make sure the goals of the company are met. I’ve been to McDonalds all over the world. You receive a quick meal for a very reasonable price. McDonalds has managed to keep pace with the marketplace and have kept their model going at a successful pace worldwide. I consider them a great organization.
