HOW FAR DO YOU AGREE THAT SOCIAL MEDIA HAS THREATENED THE PRIVACY OF ITS USERS? DISCUSS.

Privacy is defined as the state of being free from public attention. So with that definition, we can all agree that social media strips one off of their privacy. Now, whether social media is the sole cause of the risk its users face is a whole other topic. In most cases, risks, whether people know it or not, is something that they themselves take.

Indeed, social media is a platform where people can expose their vulnerabilities to the world wide web. By doing this, by showing the internet a vulnerable side, they’ve taken the risk of being exposed and continued on anyway.

It is 100% manageable and possible for one to enjoy the benefits and connections that social medias provide them with without unknowingly exposing themselves to the cyberbullies or hackers that lurk around.
