Project Leadership Roles at TriHealth

Introduction

TriHealth manages other facilities such as hospitals and other health organization. TriHealth manages such places as nursing homes and physical fitness facilities. In recent years the company has grown in size and complexity so the leadership decided it was necessary to define some of the roles of the project teams within the company. The roles that needed to be defined are the project leader, performance improvement consultant, executive sponsor, core team members and subject matters experts. In this paper I will identify the common roles in a human resource project and then analyze these roles to typical human resource functions. I will then reorganize two roles at TriHealth that will result in a shared responsibility. I will state why I reorganized the roles. I will then suggest long and short term effects that the shared roles will have among the employees. As with growth there may be a need for additional employees. With that in mind I will analyze any new roles needed at TriHealth and propose a new role and the impact it will have on the company.

The size of the project is a determining factor when deciding how the people implementing the project are organized. If the project is small very little organization will be needed. On the other hand, if the project is large then more people are necessary to complete the project. Many companies will reach their strategic goals with the implementation of a new project. The projects are completed with people functioning in different roles. The roles are categorized in three levels; executive, managerial and associate.
