Apple Corporation
Companies’ ethics and social responsibility are being scrutinized more than ever before. In today’s contemporary businesses organizations have to pay special attention to how they treat their customers, employees and the environment. Large corporations like, Apple, often are criticized because of how they handle social responsibility. Due to Apple being a large conglomerate much attention is made to the tech giants’ environmental performance. “Undertaking socially responsible initiatives is truly a win-win situation. Not only will your company appeal to socially conscious consumers and employees, but you'll also make a real difference in the world”(Fallon, 2014). I am going to discuss Apple’s current position on the company’s ethical and social responsibilities, and determine whether or not the company has met these responsibilities. Today’s consumer wants to know how the money that it spends with a company is being used; they want to know if they are putting the money back into the community.
I am also going to discuss private enterprise and analyze the factors that drive supply and demand in Apple Corporation, and factors of stability in our nation’s economy.

Due to Apple being a tech company many people have analyzed the organizations environmental performance, maybe more so than any other organization. “Before 2008, Apple was an easy target for environmental organizations, many of whom squarely knocked Apple to their “do not buy” list”(Kannel, 2012). Apple seems to be an easy target because the organization was growing so rapidly but was not putting much back into the environment.
