Terrorism

“One man’s terrorist, is another mans freedom fighter.” This quote is the most associated quote when it comes to terrorism. What it means that from one perspective the terrorist is doing the action in act of rebellion, violence, and there political or religious views. Yet on the other hand, the criminal is seen as a hero, fighting for there freedom. Terrorism is a criminal act that influences and audience beyond the immediate victim. For example, during the 1972 Munich Olympics, the Black September Organization, a Palestine terrorist group, killed eleven Israeli Olympic participants. The immediate victims were the eleven participants, but in fact the one billion people watching the event were the true targets. Terrorists also sway for a Robin Hood image, in hope for the public to understand there points of there causes. This sympathetic view of terrorism has become an integral part of their psychological warfare and the United States Government, along with help from the United Nations, and other large government bodies, needs to counter there actions before problems really get out of hand, because the United States of America should not have to face the tragedies that have we have been facing for such a time.

There has been terrorism actions since 1920, when the first plot of terrorism was unfolded when a TNT bomb was planted in an unattended horse-drawn wagon exploded on Wall Street opposite of the House of Morgan. After the bomb was set, thirty-five people were killed, and hundreds more would end up being injured. There was no significant evidence to catch any perpetrators, but the main idea is that Bolshevist rebellion terrorists were behind the plot.

For decades the United States have set an alliance with the shah of Iran, Mohammaed Reza Phlazi, and during the Cold War, Iran set an alliance with the U.S. against the Soviet Union, Iran was a neighbor towards the Soviet Union, and the U.S. sent military and economic aid to Iran. October 22....
