Introduction

Migration is the gateway to a country of people who were born or came from elsewhere. Represents one of the options or alternatives of the term migration , which applies to the movement of people from one place to another and these shifts imply a change of residence either temporary or permanent. The two migration options are: migration , which is the departure of persons from a country, region or place to go to a different and immigration, which is the entry into a country, region or place from elsewhere.

Thus, it is valid to study the migration from the point of view of host country (or rather, first, because immigrants are not always welcomed in the country of entry), because the situation is very different and often even opposed to the country or place of emigration. A huge range of political situations and problems posed by the nearly always inevitable cultural differentiation, economic and social disparities between immigrants and those of the host country, and even among immigrants when they come from countries and even continents.

History of Migrants

Migration is as old as humanity and relationships appear in almost all ancient religions and cultures that exist. In the case of Judeo-Christian tradition, the expulsion of man by the Creator after original sin is the first reference to a kind of forced migration. Other examples can be found in Exodus or Escape from Egypt 40 years of life in the desert of Sinai, the settlement in Canaan, etc. In Islamic tradition can be cited or transfer the flight of Mohammed from Mecca to Medina, a process known as the Hijra, which translates to emigration.
