Social Media Marketing Strategy OBJECTIVE The purpose of this Web 2.0 campaign is to increase user activity on external networks and grow membership on Youth Noise, while emphasizing Play City. Youth Noise needs to be better presented amongst “social network enthusiasts”, which is critical to convert traffic onto Youth Noise. Specific goals of this campaign include: 1. Reconstructing Social Networks 2. Analyzing Traffic/Raw Data 3. Developing a Branded Message 4. Implementing Creative Content 5. Promoting Youth Noise on External Sites 6. Executing the Game Plan 7. Constraints of Current Resources 8. Projection of Social Network Accounts OUTLINE By reconstructing current social network accounts, they will become more optimal for users to engage with. In turn they will provide better positioning for Youth Noise to market its brand and bring awareness to two tiers of site features. The primary accounts Youth Noise will focus on restructuring include: • Facebook • MySpace • Twitter • YouTube

Facebook SWOT Analysis

Currently Youth Noise offers a Facebook Fan Page which allows Facebook and nonFacebook users to view its content. However, Youth Noise doesn’t allow users to join groups and read blog updates from RSS Feeds. Strengths: • Fan Base • Photos • Posted Notes/Items • Videos • Wall Posts Weaknesses/Threats: • Infrequent Updates on Fan Page • Lacking YN Group • Not Visible in Facebook Search Results
