It reminded me of Janie’s quest for love and how she had to try multiple times to get the love she was seeking. She also had a love for people; wanting to meet different folks and getting to hear their stories. She found some beauty in most individuals.

* This song describes the trust and understanding between Pheoby and Janie. It reminds of the scene where Pheoby is warning Janie of Tea Cake and overall how protective and caring Pheoby is towards Janie. The song could also fit in with how Janie spilled her whole life story to Pheoby, a beautiful example of the trust that can only form between women.

* This song talks about how there are great moments and there are terrible moments in our lives. It describes how Janie got through moments like these as she finds her way through life and love.
