INTRODUCTION TO THE POWER LAB AND LAB TUTOR
THE POWER LAB SYSTEM
The Power Lab System is basically used to record various Physiological
activities of humans and animals for which the signal or data analysis and
manipulation become very much easy and less time consuming.
The technology derives from equipment such as
the kymograph and paper chart-recorders.

Power Lab Converts signals of mechanical and Physiological
activities into amplified electrical Signal by different devices.
These Devices are called as Transducer which receive signal, amplify it and
transmit it towards the Computer.
LAB TUTOR
A Software is installed to run the Power lab hardware known as Lab tutor.
It is an HTML-based software package, designed specifically for laboratory
work and used in conjunction with ADInstruments' PowerLab.
LabTutor controls all work of hardware such as, sampling and storage of
experimental data, and allows you to display, manipulate and analyze them.

Signal Conditioners
AD Instruments signal conditioners are software-controlled pre-amplifiers
for use with Power Lab data acquisition systems.
