1. Discuss how the practices that Tec Smart identified support Deming’s 14 Points.

Deming 14 points are; create constancy of purpose for improvement of products and service, adapt the new philosophy, cease dependence on mass inspection, end the practice of awarding business one the basis of price tag alone, constantly improve the system of production and service, institute training, adopt and institute leadership, adopt and institute leadership, drive out fear, break down barriers between staff areas, eliminating slogans, exhortations and targets for the work force, eliminate numerical quota for the work force, remove barriers that rob people of pride of workmanship, encourage education and self-improvement for everyone, take action to accomplish the transformation

If I’m going to identify the practices of tech smart into Deming’s 14 point in:

* create constancy of purpose for improvement of products and service

Based on the case Tec smart they focused in quality, service and value. I would say that based on the list strengths of Tec smart which are summarized with 16 bullets, I can say that first and second bullet will support the first Deming point because it inspires the workers to stay competitive in the market and remind about the importance of firmness in jobs by having plans, supporting objective of each company and senior leaders participate quarterly meetings

* adapt the new philosophy

on bullet number 3, 7, 13 shows that Tec smart learning’ where senior leaders teach course in tech university on change management, inputs to the strategic planning process, trainings which is a good way to quality

* cease dependence on mass inspection

in this point it means that doing it right the first time, we don’t need to have any kind of inspections why not do it good at first?, but in this case they practice some inspections where in the bullet number 4, 5,6 and 17...
