with, and supportive of, the organisation's corporate or business (30 marks) strategy. Presentation Guidance This first assignment focuses on Units 1 and 2 of the course. We strongly advise that you stick to these two units when looking for course ideas to include in your assignment. This first assignment is about the intended HR strategy of the organisation and there is adequate theory in these first two units to compare the intended HR strategy to. Please do not be tempted to stray into the content of the later units. This would make the task much bigger and will tempt you into the implementation of the HR strategy rather than the setting of the strategy and its goals. You might find that when you talk to senior people in your chosen organisation that they do not believe they have a 'strategy' or a 'strategic approach' to the management of people.
