I met him whom his name is Alan in cram school 4 years ago. I was willing to brush my English up, especially speaking skills, to get the permission to go to Kyoto University as an exchange student. However, I did not have any ideas regarding that because I just finished my military service. After talking about my speaking skills even my situations that I have to go to Kyoto University for English and how to speak English fluently, he gave me many opportunities to improve English.

First, he wanted me to talk about anything in English even though I did not make English sentences right. I started to do that but it made me really hard to speak up. Fortunately, as time goes by, my speaking skills got better and better thanks to him because he always waited for me to speak English clearly, also let my English corrected in his lenience. Plus, he always suggested to me better ways to speak. Those great his dedication made me inspired and eager to study English as much as possible.

Second, he gave me another opportunity to meet many foreigners for drinking. Therefore, I could easily join parties with them and got spontaneously how different cultures are between Korean and foreigners in some ways. At that time, I got educations concerning languages. I did think that English is the most important thing among people. However, finally, I felt that it could be one of the tools to communicate each other which mean that there were many tools among people instead of languages. After that, I could blow my burdens to speak off thanks to his efforts.

It is true that if I had not met him, I would not have spoken English. However, unfortunately, he didn't contact me anymore and no one knows where he was going to and where he is living now. I have been finding him asking other teacher working in the cram school but he has not answered yet.
