Risen High, Sunken Deep

The University Athletics Association of the Philippines, or the UAAP as it was for everyone, has now been airing to be another spectacular ongoing series in its 79th season. And as an avid supporter of the whole league itself, I was one of the thousands, if not millions, of the abangers waiting to witness greatness and dreams achieved, dreams coming true in this whole new season. The launch also of the brand new teams for this year’s race for medals and trophies and school pride has been one of the most awaited moments for this season. And as a big buff of the UAAP, I can’t help myself but to reflect on those teams as they march with pride wearing their school colors, enthusiastically dreaming to bring home the bacon as the season ends. I was able to reminisce those moments I had with those teams as I watch them live on TV, which team has made it to the top of my list and which team has sunken deep and received glares from a fan/tard like me. HAHA

8. DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY GREEN ARCHERS

A champion team, a powerhouse. Yes, it has been buried deep down my list. I hated La Salle. And yes, I hate them till now. (Peace, De La Salle fans. Hehe) What can you expect from a natural blue-blooded fan, right? HAHA. I knew and I am absolutely certain (that’s quite redundant. LOL) that half of the ONE BIG FIGHT chanters have already killed the players with their laser eyes and murderous minds. And I think I was one of them at certain points. I recognize how powerful this team is. I am fully aware how lethal every player is, from the seniors down to the rookies. And maybe those are the reasons why I hate the team. They were such big walls for my beloved team to pass through! And mind you, I despise green. I literally has never bought any green item for myself. Never. And I’ll loathe those people who’d buy me one. HAHA.

6.5 ADAMSON UNIVERSITY SOARING FALCONS & UNIVERSITY OF THE EAST RED WARRIORS

Yes, they’re tied. HAHA. I don’t hate these teams. But I don’t love them...
