INTRODUCTION:
My final research portfolio assignment for the module International Communications will explore, identify and explain in depth a number of key issues, trends and international flows regarding, and affiliated to, the broad topic of international communication. I will begin the assessment discussion by defining international marketing and textually demonstrate through practical examples how multinational companies such as Coca-Cola, Renault, Fossil, and Samsung, amongst others, respond successfully through the dissemination of messaging to their culturally and geographically diverse consumer market. I will then move onto the relevant topic of media imperialism and with practical examples courtesy of appropriately referenced sources will explain three factors that may give rise to media imperialism.
