Extend Your Arms with AIDS Patients

Being born to enjoy the quality of life is such an amazing thing. Family, friends and lovers are all great aspects of a great life. and live a happy life from end to end with family are such a great thing. However, not everybody can have a happy life as they wish because of some reasons; we could have a terrible disease which can appear suddenly. Five years ago, I was in a group of volunteers who took care of AIDS patients in a Vietnamese hospital. My first time working with the AIDS patients made me nervous. But quickly over time the patents and I became close. The purpose of our program was to help on AIDS patients to build confidence in life.

Due to a weakling of the immune system, AIDS patients are more susceptible to infection which a normal immune system could fend off. However, it does not mean that AIDS are getting worse. If AIDS patients appropriate are taken care well, they can live a long and happy life. Physical and aspects of taking care of AIDS patients’ including assists patients with eating and other daily activities. Love is also a medication for patients and they always need a large dose daily. Now let’s imagine an AIDS patient living with estrangement. In this state of suffering and desperation, they will die a quietly quick death in solitude, disgrace and despair.

In fact, no one wants to contract or be born with AIDS. No one wants to become a burden to their family and society. Due to the circumstances of this incurable disease, they have to accept AIDS. We can sympathize with AIDS patient’s family, although people carry the knowledge that AIDS is not contracted through casual contact, but many people still fear it. For example, if a labor family has a member with AIDS, they cannot continue their job due to the fear from the consumers.
