1. Main Issue
The nature of the research is a cross sectional research using both qualitative and quantitative research methods where observation was done using two publications within the boundaries of South Africa at a short space of times.
2. Research Criteria
The main issue as stipulated above deals with the use of creative concepts in advertisements which on its own speaks to Mass-Media and thus adds to the known knowledge in communication that advertising in mass media uses persuasive communication and text.
The main issue is researchable as it deals with collectable proof from two known magazines, the Clicks Club Card Magazine and True Love Magazine. To add to the extent of research ability of assignment is that different creative concept can be identified from the advertorial and that different characteristics of each creative concept can be distinguished says that our research is scientific and makes it to be researchable.
