Abstract

Apple, Inc. is a company that started out with humble beginnings and has become one of the wealthiest companies in the world. Apple has created products for consumers even before those customers knew that they needed those products. Apple has many strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that they have to face and deal with on a daily basis. So far, Apple has been able to capitalize on their strengths and opportunities, while minimizing the impact that their weaknesses and threats have on their organization. The marketing goals and objectives of Apple have done well for the company, but they need to look at modifying them so that they can enjoy continued growth and success of their products and company. The key to their marketing goals and objectives is to go back to what they were doing a decade ago, when they started their meteoric rise that they have enjoyed for almost 10 years.

Introduction

All companies have many different aspects to their business that they need to address in order to be able to not only maintain their operations, but to also grow them. Each and every company needs to understand their strengths and weaknesses so that they are able to increase the size of the business and remain as far away from bankruptcy as possible. The development of quality products that customers want or feel that they need is the first piece of that puzzle, but the other significant part is for the company to be able to effectively market their products to customers so that they will want to purchase them shortly after they are released. One such company that has mastered those concepts is Apple, Inc. They have created a brand that is recognizable around the world with products that people will line up for hours prior to their release in order to be one of the first people to have the products....
