Introduction

Project Context

CAF Mini Mart is a fast growing establishment in the Municipality of Guipos which offer retail and wholesale to its customer. The owner updates the inventory by physically counting the inventory items which increases the possibility of human error or simply miscount the number of item on a frequent basis and the establishment also cannot accommodate the number customer because of the unsystematic point of sale. The current system of the business is done manually that cause time consuming of the business owner to track inventory records.

The CAF Mini Mart Inventory Management System makes the establishment more productive, efficient and convenient to its customer. The system is meant to help the owner to increase the sales and most importantly to increase the profit of the business. With the aid of CAF Mini Mart Inventory Management System the establishment can easily make consistent, reliable, and timely decisions.

The implementation of this project will provide the establishment faster process of transaction by using barcode scanner, organized the stock-in and stock-out of item and item details, and it notifies the owner when one of the item is running out of stock and already expire.

Purpose and Description

The purpose of the study is to solve the encountered problems in the establishment that will help the owner to ease the transaction process. The system will manage the stock-in and stock-out of the items, it will notify the owner when one of the items is running out of stock, and already been expired.

The system also will manage the sales of establishment through the use of the barcode scanner.

Objective of the Project

The study aims to;

* Provide inventory system to notifies the owner when one of the items is running out of stock.

* Implement an inventory system to manage the stock-in and stock -out of the items.
