Files Used
The F4160 stores information about the inventory tags. The F4141 is shared by both the cycle count and tag count programs. It holds information about the items selected for count, including the on-hand. This on-hand is "frozen" because it does not change if there are inventory transactions, sales, or receipts completed after the F4141 records are created.
F4160: Tag Inventory File - Each record is one tag.
F4141: Cycle Count Transaction File - Items selected for count and frozen on-hand.
Inventory Tags
When printed, inventory tags are essentially blank except for the tag number and branch plant. Information about the tags is stored in the F4160 Tag Inventory File. Item numbers and locations are not populated in the F4160 until Tag Count Entry (P41604).
The tag status (TSTS) is used to track the status of individual tags. The valid values for TSTS are stored in UDC table 41/TS. EnterpriseOne ships the UDC table populated as follows:

Tag Print (R41607) G4121 - Tag Print
Tags can be printed before or after running Select Items for Count. Inventory tags, when printed, are not assigned to an item or a location. When the Tag Print (R41607) UBE is run, specify the number of tags to print and the branch/plant. The resulting tags are blank except for the tag number and branch plant.
