Is equal opportunity a philosophical possibility?

While equal opportunities are around us everywhere, we don’t always think of them that way. I know that working no matter the type of work it should be an equal opportunity for anyone. For instance, if you are working and a black man or Mexican wants that job as well they should have the same right.

That is an equal opportunity for a different race. If you don’t allow this as an employer you are being racist. If you are only hiring one race then those other people can get you on discrimination. Would you like that to be your opportunity as an employer? I would not want that to be me, on either side of that.

Another example is driving. Everyone has the equal right to get their drivers license if they know the rules of the road. Now for those of us who have our license we should not be given a thousand chances when it comes to certain types of tickets. I know that where I live they give you 3 chances while driving under the influence to pull it together then they take your license. That is bull crap in my eyes.

Equal opportunities are everywhere and everyone has them. So are they a philosophical possibility? Still some research to be done but I think that they are in some ways philosophical possibilities to equal opportunity. Knowing this will help us to know where we stand in life.

Equal opportunities are supposed to be there for everyone not just one or two of us. If you are not receiving equal treatment then you should do something to fix that. I used to have to deal with equal opportunity every day. Now I have a better opportunity than I used to because I got a new job and this job had helped me advance in life. It also reminded me that I need to go back to school. So that is where my equal opportunity has come into my life.
