Proposal for Clear Hear

Clear Hear is a manufacturer for mobile devices. Kendra Sherman, who is the business development specialist for Clear Hear, is working with Lisa Norman, who is the production manager. Kendra is in the process of gaining business with Big Box. Kendra and Lisa will work together to find a solution. Kendra is on board with the business proposal since she will achieve her capacity bonus. However, she is concerned with the fact Big Box is not agreeing to the price of these units. Recommendations

* Big Box does not want to pay more than $15 each for the phones, therefore profits will not be good as planned and Lisa may not reach the bonus for factory total profitability.

* Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suggested a prototype of the Alpha.

* We could also recommend Big Box acquire more of the Alpha’s to make up for lost profits due to price.

In order to figure the best recommendation for this business transaction, there must be some aspects and values to determine:

* Satisfaction – a higher satisfaction must be in place to out-do competitors.

* Price Competition – don’t be too competitive; maintain a reasonable price to keep customers coming back.

* Strong Expectations – deliver high quality of business to satisfy customer’s emotional needs.

* Strength Takes Time – protecting assets through domination.

In addition to these aspects, Clear Hear also abides by the company’s set of values:

* Keep our employees working

* Provide our customers with products on time and that reliably meet or exceed their expectations.

* Treat our business partners the same as we want to be treated
